As mentioned in the medium post earlier, there was an incident that happened in PancakeHunny. No hives (farms) were breached. All funds are safe. We have reviewed the codes for all our hives.
What actions and solutions did we take?
We have stopped minting HUNNY for single asset vaults like FIL and TUSD Vaults with low liquidity on PancakeSwap. We have taken immediate action to protect our users from any further potential issues that could arise. More information on additional security measures are explained below.
Thank you for your constant support, trust, and patience as Team Hunny continues to look for ways to elevate the Hunny ecosystem and the best solution to compensate our valued users for the recent incident. Please see below for details on our Moving Forward Plan.
Compensation Plan
HunnyPlay has been growing exponentially and we would like to take this opportunity to further create awareness, getting more users to experience HunnyPlay, and definitely with more marketing, we as one will grow together. With more exposure to our built utilities, users can anticipate more from Team Hunny with the upcoming HunnyPoker V2.0 and our very own P2E game. Furthermore, Hunnyplay is fully operational and Team Hunny feels that it is appropriate that we utilise HunnyPlay as the medium for compensation and it is the most convenient and expeditious approach since lesser development efforts will be required. We understand that our community will be eager to receive their compensation as soon as possible, hence distribution via HunnyPlay will aid in this endeavour of ours, estimated date of compensation will begin on 5th November 2021.
1.5 million $HUNNY (Dev Fund) will be distributed across users’ HunnyPlay account daily, over a span of 90 days based on the snapshot of your staked $HUNNY before the incident. We will have an accurate count of $HUNNY possessed by all HUNNY Holders from our snapshot.
To be able to claim your Hunny, you can simply connect your wallet to hunnyplay.com and subscribe to the compensation pool. Details will be announced before the subscription period starts. Do take note that you are free to withdraw $HUNNY from HunnyPlay or play with the credits.
On top of that, for the month of November, December 2021, and January 2022, Team Hunny will be contributing the following:
– 50% of the profits from Hunny NFT Marketplace will be used for buyback and burn
– 50% of the profits from HunnyJar will be distributed back to the community via HunnyPlay
– 50% of the profits from HunnyPlay will be distributed back to the community via HunnyPlay
– 30% of the profits from Hives are still burnt constantly
Moving Forward
1. Immunefi Bug Bounty Program
This program will attract more bounty hunters in the whitehat community to leverage their abilities to identify potential vulnerabilities and fight against malicious actors.
2. Engaging Additional Third Party Audit Firms for Current Vaults & Future Vaults
We will engage more external audits and security consultants for our current and future vaults from time to time as more audit reports can reveal other security weaknesses that we might overlook within our protocol.
3. Prevention of External Smart Contract Interaction with Hunny Smart Contracts
Flash loan attacks are executed through smart contracts. Hunny will implement a stop on all external smart contracts to interact with Hunny’s contract which helps us mitigate the risk of flash loan attack with the same loophole.
4. Increase $Hunny Price by controlling emission
Our aim is to appreciate the price of $HUNNY. We will increase emissions so that our APR for our hives will be kept competitive in order to attract new users, thus, increasing our native liquidity pool. This will be monitored closely to ensure that the entire ecosystem is well balanced.
Emissions will be reduced eventually so that we will be able to control the rate of minting $HUNNY, thus maintaining the price.
5. Hunny NFT Marketplace
Currently, the launch of Hunny NFT Marketplace on 25th October 2021 is still on track. The first-of-its-kind Hunny NFTs range from Collectible NFTs, Staking NFTs, Poker Table Ownership NFTs, and Gaming NFTs. These NFTs are unique and exclusive only to Hunny NFT Marketplace.
Our first batch of collectible NFTs is the 1 of 1 Limited Edition. These NFTs come with additional boosters to referral rewards & VIP cashback ranks on HunnyPlay.com. Following shortly will be the rollout of our “Staking NFTs”, where owners of such NFTs can earn BNB + CAKE + HUNNY when these NFTs are staked in our NFT Vault. We are in talks with the most prominent crypto exchanges, influencers, artists, musicians, and gamers for our exciting collab series of NFTs.
6. HunnyPlay Adoption
HunnyPlay is the first BSC online iGaming project with farming capabilities and a wide range of exciting games that will entice any player. We have plans to expand and collaborate with prominent players (influencers) and other various platforms for cross-marketing, thus expanding our user base in HunnyPlay. We are constantly enhancing our UIUX and adding more games and features.

7. P2E Games
The most anticipated Hunny P2E game will be launched in the 1st quarter of 2022 with breathtaking and immersive metaverse experience.

Possible listing on CEXes to gain more exposure in the crypto space. This would attract a wider range of retail investors/traders who are still not exposed to DEXes yet.
