1. Please give an introduction to yourself, what is your background that led to the development of PancakeHunny?
Matt:
As a group of developers who are yield farmers ourselves, we are constantly looking out for high yields, but more than that, we are always hoping for one that actually promotes experience for its users, having a utility of the token and carrying the spirit of community building, at the same time, transparent, fair and sustainable.
Hence, the birth of PancakeHunny.

2. What is PancakeHunny? What are you bringing to the BSC ecosystem with the launch of PancakeHunny?
Matt:
PancakeHunny is a DeFi platform, more specifically a yield optimizer. We offer one of the highest returns in the DeFi space.
Our codes and smart contracts are audited by one of the most reputable blockchain audit firms, CertiK, and further enhanced with Certik Skynet and Certik Shield for additional security.
Furthermore, the best reason to farm on BSC is the low gas fees, which have created a low barrier of entry for individuals to enter DeFi and while being able to earn good returns harvesting the crops with little capital.
With the recent launch of various utilities for our HUNNY Tokens, users can look forward to an immersive experience with our integrated gaming portal. Play instantly simply by connecting your wallet.
Coming soon is our NFT marketplace with its NFT unique functions and our very own P2E Hunny NFT game expecting to launch in Q4 2021.

But let’s unpack a bit as there was a lot I wanted to touch on
So first let’s talk about your token
3. What is $HUNNY and how is it used on your platform?
Matt:
HUNNY is our native token where users can stake on our farms to earn their favourite token and at the same time topped with HUNNY.
Our HUNNY token can also be used to stake in our native farms such as the HUNNY Hive, HUNNY-BNB LP Hive, and HUNNY ACE Hive, giving our users even more HUNNY, users can also win more HUNNY with our newly released HunnyPlay as well as the upcoming P2E game.
HUNNY doesn’t have a capped supply, however, our team aims to make deflation higher than emission by building deflationary mechanisms into PancakeHunny’s products such as our Farming Hives, HunnyLottery, HunnyPlay, HunnyPoker with more on the way.
The goal is for more HUNNY to leave circulation than the amount of HUNNY that is produced.

And when I saw your various farms, I noticed that it was not just HUNNY that you can deposit

4. Can you tell us more about your pools?
Matt:
We are constantly curating the best yield farms for our various pools to ensure we stay competitive, our pools supported range from LP pools ( HUNNY/BNB, CAKE/BNB, etc. ) to various single asset pools such as BNB, CAKE, BANANA, USDT, USDC pools and many more.
Besides earning an attractive yield, users are able to use HUNNY tokens to try a hand at our various games within HunnyPlay.

Okay neat! So let’s actually talk about that because HunnyPlay is something that I found to be really interesting
5. What is HunnyPlay?
Matt:
HunnyPlay aims to be the most engaging and fun destination built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). We are developing a brand new and unprecedented gamified farming playground where every user can enjoy high yields and exciting games at the same time.
HunnyPlay is our very own gaming playground with all settlements/payments integrated on BSC for a transparent and secure way of online gaming. You can find a whole load of games packed into HunnyPlay such as Slots, Bingo, Money Wheel, Deal or No Deal, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Sic Bo, Poker, RNG, and LIVE games.
All earnings received from HunnyPlay games will be split into portions, one to be burnt, one to cover the cost/expenses, and the remaining will go into the HunnyJar which will be distributed amongst our valued members (BumbleBees & HunnyBees).

Okay and just to clarify, HunnyPlay is played exclusively using HUNNY?

Nope. Besides HUNNY, anyone with BNB CAKE USDT BUSD can play in HunnyPlay

6. Could you describe more on HunnyJar, HunnyBees and BumbleBees?
Matt:
Back to your question, HunnyJar is a collective pool of HUNNY earned from HunnyPlay, HunnyLottery, and HunnyPoker to reward our HunnyBees and BumbleBees.
Profits to HunnyJar consist of,
HunnyPoker: 2% of HUNNY staked per game as rake will go into HunnyJar.
HunnyPlay: 40% of profits collect from HunnyPlay.
HunnyLottery: 2% of HUNNY collected from HunnyLottery.
HunnyBees and BumbleBees are VIPs of PancakeHunny (including their referrals) who have cumulatively played >$250k total wager for the month or >$2.5M total wager for the month respectively in HunnyPoker or HunnyPlay, all HUNNY tokens collected in HunnyJar will be distributed to all Bees as a reward.

Okay I see, so HunnyPot is an incentive to reward players who play big

How large have these pots gotten?
Matt:
Our HunnyJar is going to be ready most probably by end of Oct, the amount is accumulative from the recent earnings and burns from HunnyPlay
As of now, we have recently added about 40k worth of Hunny into it from profits of HunnyPlay. And it will grow every month.

Okay I see, so there is a lot of neat features I am seeing coming out of PancakeHunny

7. Are you audited? For someone who wants to play with HunnyPlay, how can you assure them that their funds are safe with you?
Matt:
PancakeHunny takes security very seriously, therefore our contracts have been audited by one of the most reputable blockchain audit firms CertiK and we are moving up a notch by taking up Certik’s security suite consisting of Certik Skynet and Certik Shield.
We have also enhanced our security with Chainlink’s Price Feeds Oracles — the industry standard for decentralized price oracles to prevent flash loans due to price manipulation. This will improve the overall security and accuracy of valuing user deposits.
When someone wants to play in HunnyPlay, all they need to do is to connect their wallet to HunnyPlay and deposit one of the supported tokens into our contracts. Since the transaction is done on the blockchain, users can easily verify their transaction on-chain.

All transactions are on-chain and yes we do have plans to get the contracts audited.

8. Where do you see this platform in the near future? With more competition in the industry, how do you attract more users to farm in PancakeHunny and play in HunnyPlay?
Matt:
PancakeHunny was created with the vision of being the one-stop DeFi platform built on BSC, offering users one of, if not, the best yields in the farming scene while providing a unique and entertaining experience where users can try their luck at HunnyPlay, offering a wide array of games of chance.
Users can also participate in our attractive referral campaigns and ongoing promotions. On top of that, users can build their way up to become a HunnyBee/BumbleBee where they will own a share of HunnyJar, a collective pot of funds gathered from all sources of revenue from PancakeHunny and HunnyPlay.
Next up in Q3 2021, we will be launching our NFT marketplace where users can own their favorite HunnyBunnies and these NFTs can be used in our P2E game.
Future plans would include the expansion of our farms, offering cross-chain farming options, and creating further diversified farming pools where users can have a more balanced portfolio within a single pool.
We will also be expanding on our overall P2E game infrastructure as well as increasing more games, features, and functions within HunnyPlay.
We aim to be the leader in the space of DeFi yield farming, more than that, we want to present to the world an unprecedented DeFi ecosystem consisting of farming, gaming, and all other investment possibilities built on-chain.

9. Can you tell us more about your upcoming NFTs?
Matt:
Our talented artists have created many HunnyBunnies characters for PancakeHunny and they are still getting more characters out.
The characters created for Hunny are exactly for the purpose of having them as NFTs and it will be up for purchase and/or auction on our marketplace, which in the future can be open for external NFTs to be traded on.

Okay so they are really only for ownership purpose?
Matt:
These NFTs will come useful in our upcoming P2E game which we are hoping to have launched in November. There may be other utilities to it as well, we will provide more information soon.

These are some updates from PancakeHunny development team, and we are working hard on all the new and exciting features for #PancakeHunny and #HunnyPlay.
We target by the end of this month to have a VIP program for HunnyPlay, which is a deeper tiering cashback system to incentivise our loyal fans.
Around October, we will launch our HunnyPoker v2, which is a P2P version of poker where you can start a table to play with your friends.

While you build your project, do you take into account community feedback and demands?
Our community is definitely one of our priorities, we strongly believe that only with feedbacks can we then truly improve ourselves, with that said, many improvements done on PancakeHunny are requests and suggestions made by our users. We also have a voting portal where users can list their suggestions and have the community vote and decide the final outcome. We have already completed a couple of rounds of voting on topics such as reducing HUNNY emissions and enhancing our HunnyLottery jackpot pool.
We are also in the midst of revamping our HunnyPoker, after gathering feedback from our users in HunnyPoker v1. And we are pleased with what we have achieved so far because we always listen to our community for feedback.
What is your advantage over other projects? Is it from a security point of view or the technology you are using? Or are there other advantages? What makes you believe that your project is worth choosing?
I believe we are one of the first DeFi projects that actually provide gaming and farming as a one stop. While earning good yields are attractive and can garner a good user base, we believe in sustainability and that needs to come with actual utility. Not only that, we want our users to have a whole new experience, rather than just logging in everyday to “claim your profits”, but we want our users to have real fun and that’s where we are different from the rest. We have HunnyPlay.com, a live iGaming portal and soon to come, our very own P2E game.
